Environmental Responsiblity

J.B.M. General  Contractors, Inc. realize there are many facets within the building industry that affect our economy and the environment in which we live.

To become responsible builders we have turned to the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.  The LEED program is devised of a rating system to help guide in areas of energy efficiency, reduction of air and water pollution, building material sustainability, and waste management reduction.

Taking a team approach to environmental responsibility yields the best outcome for successful "green building".  JBM's involvement early on with the owner, architects and engineers fosters the best approach in achieving our goals for LEED Certification.
